Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Outpatient / Acute Care / Long-Term Care

Location

Seward, AK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 5x8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Onsite | Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period (with potential for one 8-hour call-off per 2-week period)

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, acute care, and long-term care/swing bed settings within a critical access hospital environment
Float between care settings as needed to meet facility demands, within the scope of practice
Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays as required
Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

Active Alaska Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission; compact license accepted if valid)
Current NBCOT certification
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in outpatient, acute care, and/or long-term care/swing bed settings
Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to accommodate a block schedule if needed
